Starting installation.
Fixawoodensafetybase joist (same thicknessaspanel)along
theentire roof perimeter.
To allow the first row of tiles to overlap the gutter, place the
first Isotec panel after trimming it along the longitudinal side
or,asanalternative,use thespecific Isotecpanelwithashorter
width. Interposeabutylaluminium tapeas insulationbetween
themetal profileand thegutter.
Sealingand fixing.
Seal the lateral dovetails of the panels with
single-component silicone before their joint.
After the panel has been installed and fixed,
waterproof the jointwith thebutyl aluminum
tape.
Completing the roofpitch.
Continuewith thesecondand following rowswith thepanels,
cutting their length inorder to staggerwith the lateral joints
of theprevious row.
Thecutpartsofpanelscanbeused for thenext rows,until you
reach the ridgeof the roof.
Thisprocedure reducesthepercentageofwastedmaterial,which
isaveragelyabout3%.
Ventilated ridge.
After having reached the ridge, seal with PU foam the space
between thepanels at the ridge, trim the foam in excess and
seal byapplyingbutyl aluminum tape.
Place themetal profileand fix it to thebottom frameat anap-
propriate distance to support the last row of tiles. Install the
under-ridgeplate, foldand fix it.
